I started playing warhammer a few years ago, and still I learn new things about the rules/lizardmen. To play correct is hard in a world of vague rules and RAW/RAI its easy to get lost. Lets take some time and reminisce of our warhammer noob times! What rules did you read wrong that lead to units being hilariously op/up?
I remember I thought tetto'ekos comet reroll actually added more counters. My OnG friend is probably still traumatized after 8+2d6 str 12 comet wiped nearly his entire army
.
Or when i thought salamanders just placed the breath template right infront of them without rolling an artillery dice.
At an early point i also thought poison ignored armor saves and that blowpipes/javelins had 18 range. Lets just say my skinks were hated for a while in one of my gaming groups (we were all very new to the game).
Feel free to share your own stories!
