AoS Ripperdactyl Painting

Hey, I am planning on buying some rippers this weekend, but my painting skills are quite bad.
So I would like some sort of step by step guide on how to paint them to get some cool looking effects on the wings.

So either a step by step guide or some sort of explanation from a more seasoned painter of the guide that I posted. I quite like the brown into red effect on the wings there.
