8th Ed. red host of tehenhauin

hello i hAVE been looking online at all skink armies and i ran across the red host of tehenhauin. is it legal in 8th edition? if so what would be a good paint scheme to go along with it.

Fluff wise, red. It is the Red host after all. But, don't let that stop you from trying something else. You could go with green and paint all the crests red.

Just a thought, if you plan on bringing some Krox, paint them orange or some other shade of red. I think it would go quite well with a red host of skinks.

I remember from my 6th edition book tenehuans host was of red crested skinks,
The rest of the can be any color as far as fluff is concerned, I think I rember the
picture of them being green or blue with red crest.

I can't see GW having an issue with you using the list as long as you and your opponent have both agreed to you using the list. Tournament wise I am not sure, it is doubtful that it will be allowed to be used.
