Doesn't work exactly like that, Shadowstrike is now 180.
Rest should be the same.

Yeah I thought the points had changed, wouldn't want to play this list against anyone, all or nothing list but would be great fun to see the damage it could do, might try it this weekend.

Absolutely disgusting...

I love it.

I'm finding it difficult to think of counters to this list. Non-magical armies get torn apart by 'dactyls and Kroak. Magical armies with good dispel capabilities... get torn apart by 'dactyls while Kroak dedicates all his spells to summoning.

I think Seraphon is going to be a big player in the tournament scene depending on how long it takes for GW to bring down the hammer on Ripper spam.

And it is only a four drop list, too. Man, this will be utterly unstoppable for a lot of lists.

But would you really play it, maybe to pi** off the guy that is "that guy" before you become the new "that guy" :D

I think I might - for fun against a warned opponent - play a less extreme list using stuff I have, since I don't have enough Rippers to pull it off anyway.
I would use 6 Rippers in one Shadowstrike and the other one would use three Terradons.

So yeah, I might play it one day. But ironically. :D

I saw someone on here earlier in the week with a double shadow strike list.
yeah try it and report back.
In my very early days I played against a bloodletter bomb. It scarred me for life.
Shows what a good game AoS is though, can accommodate all types of play / mentality. Once or twice me and my mate have played filth lists against each other. Gautfyre....ouch. Fun for what it is I suppose!

Well didn't get to use it sadly, but they didn't really agree with the constantly rolling bonus stuff until unable to do it, they said were going it can't be right etc cus rule of one etc? (Tho 6 attacks turned into 31 damage)

I used a similar list in a 2v2 yesterday. Rippers were just as ruthless as I remember they used to be and six of them ate a Lord-celestant on Dracoth, a unit of concussors and a Lord-Relictor over the course of two combat phases (salty tears were shed).

Kroak is where the real power lies right now, though. Took me a few turns to succeed in summoning a Balewind Vortex due to unbinds from a Tzeentch opponent, but once I was up there three successful casts of Celestial Deliverance (aided by Kroak's rerolls) reduced every Tzeentch demon within 25 inches to ash.

Can someone find me the exact thing saying where they continue rolling as the updated app says its still there.

It doesn't outright say that Ripperdactyls are exempt from the rules, but it can be inferred that they are because the core rules DO say (under the ABILITIES section) that warscrolls take precedence over the core rules. Even though the same section says that extra attacks cannot generate further extra attacks, the Ripperdactyl warscroll specifically states that they can.

Until GW speaks up and either confirms rippers are working as intended, or acknowledges that they accidentally broke the game (again) then this issue is pretty cut and dry.

In the interest of fairness to your opponent playing with nerfed rippers is probably a good idea. In a tournament setting where there are no holds barred, anyone calling you out for this is just scraping the barrel for an advantage.

Yup. That’s annoying, just tell them it’s a bit like Arkhan the black’s cumulative one where you roll sixes, then fives, fours etc. Great if it works but not so if it doesn’t.

Hmm, well I may still play it so as practice until they change it on the AoS App it says updated with no change.

In the GW Errata they release it states you can only generate 1 additional attack like it used to be. So rippers don't get endless attacks.

I am curious for an official Statement too, Kroak is already confirmed to Work that way but the rippers really seem too powerful, it's already great that you get the toad even if the rippers start in reserve
