I love Star Wars, and have loved it my whole life, especially the EU books and comics. It gets my vote!

I enjoy Star Trek (mainly The Next Generation), but it is no contest for me... Star Wars all the way!

clearly star wars for me - it has DARTH VADER, the FORCE and lightsabres in it
star trek is fine, I watched the old one, the next gen and a bit of DS9 and voyager and all the movies. I have to say, that after next gen, I didn't like it much. same for the last movie - maybe I am a bit old fashioned, but when the main character gets his ass kicked during the whole movie, something is wrong
the plot was also quite squishy.
at the same time, I have to say that the "new" SW movies are pretty weak as well. they have a lot of special effects, but they just don't have the balls...
and if you consider the fact, that the the special effects in the "old" SWs are still watchable today, it is just fantastic.
