It could be a coincidence, but the poll here was neck and neck until the Cats movie came out. This pushed dogs ahead and their lead has slowly grown since.

yep, it has been really weird. At a certain point the poll was 51-51 (or 52-52), then the votes for cats stopped.
Basted is not pleased.
