Me and my wife currently own 7 dogs.... so cats.
I can't really imagine living without a dog, I've had one since I was 6 or 7 and have only been without one for about 2 months after my childhood friend left me. Cats are fine though, I mean I also had one for 20 years and she died a little after my dog but I can't see us ever owning another.
