Well since this thread is derailed anyways...
In fact even Star Wars VII gripped me more than Rogue One.
I feel the exact same way. While I like Rogue One, it has it's own share of problems. For instance I find that movie suffers from a lack of character development
However, if you don't feel for the characters than you don't feel for the story. As with acting, I’m more interested in the story and the originality of their characters and less on their actual development, possibly because my imagination develops the characters for me.

To each their own. I felt the characters in Rogue One were less interesting.I felt for the characters much more than those in Episode VII, partly because they were so much more interesting.
I have finally accepted it as an inevitability.Cool, another derailed thread...
Sweet Bastet, if I want to post somethin related to cats (or dogs) where do i go? Is the 8th tactical subforum an appropriate place?
I have finally accepted it as an inevitability.
But it is not... go back through the posts and you'll see that I am not the source. This recent derailment stemmed from the picture I posted a cat with a knitted infinity gauntlet. However that post itself is still on topic (because it is about a cat), so it was the response to the post that actually derailed the thread. I cannot be held responsible for how others respond to it. Of course once it was derailed, I just went with it (much the same as the fact that our current conversation is also off topic)! Interestingly, I actually made an attempt to put it back on topic...But it's also your fault!
From a great power...![]()
The key is the hint of derailment without derailing...Isn't it nice that @NIGHTBRINGER is actually trying to prevent a derailment for once?
