Just got two twin kittens. Left them at home for about an hour. Came home and couldn't find them. Searched the house. Searched a second time. Getting frantic and starting to pull out all drawers I can find, open cupboards, under beds. Everywhere. At least 90 mins have gone by. I'm worried. Sit down in the lounge room to phone my wife and tell her. Half way through the conversation I look up and there perched on the end of a curtain rail are two curious kittens with what can only be described as cheeky grins on their faces.......

If you have a doberman, you don't have to search.
The dog will be near the children.

My friend told me his uncle had a dog that was one of the shepherd breeds. When the parents were watching TV and the toddlers were playing in the next room the dog would herd the family into one spot.

It wasn't violent or anything, but it also felt the need to intervene if the family was scattered.
