I wish I had this kind of scenery when I was playing WHQ or D&D...

Whenever I watch clips from Critical Role, I'm always jealous of their DM (Matthew Mercer is the God of DM's, unbelievably talented) and the boards they use.

I've never played D&D (and I don't even know what WHQ stands for), but I can imagine that a board such as this would be really fun to play on.

Yeah, I'm experimenting with different layouts for my d and d sessions, and boards like that simply make the game. Just like WHFB, the more terrain and props you have, the better the game will be.

Do my eyes deceive me or have the Chaos Dwarfs moved into sole possession of second place?! I'm not sure how long it will last, but it is nice to see such a small, unsupported and niche army have such a loyal following!

@NIGHTBRINGER my PDF version of Throne of Tamukhan seems to be missing some pages, at the very least the description of the rules for a Chaos Siege Giant (with armour?!?!?)

There are a fair few other companies who make Chaos Dwarf alternatives, Mantic make a good range that got some new models not long ago, and Russian Alternative and Norba also make some.

The main reason why I’ve never got involved is because they never really had a proper army book (besides the 4th Edition one which itself was a White Dwarf exclusive) which is a real shame because they were a great idea.
