Yeah, that could be plausible too (I just thought though that if any faction were to try Giant gene-splicing, it would be the Chaos Dwarfs given that they actively experiment with Chaos mutations and stuff, especially as they have all the industrial power)

Also, has anyone noticed how tall the Chaos Dwarf is compared to the human women he's having a good time with? Have the Dawi-Zharr been working on mixing their genes with those of Giants or something?

To take this topic out of the What are you doing today thread:

the Dwarf ruins on the bases of some of the new Gloomspite models would have been a brilliant way to tease that, and we could have had some new concepts like Dwarf walkers or something which would have looked great.

The Treeman kit was made for the Wood Elves back in the time of Warhammer Fantasy, so at that time the crashed Gyrocopter was just to replicate the Wood Elves’ dislike of the Dwarfs coming to cut down their trees. The Gloomspite Gitz kits on the other hand were specifically designed for AoS, and all that Dwarf masonry on their bases was making me think that GW were thinking of doing something to rejuvenate the ordinary Dwarfs, rather than merging them into AoS Empire.
