Not quite sure what the total points are but what do you guys think of the general idea.

Tactics wise Ive got the Slann and EotG in he middle of my force (acting as Terror Firma) flanked by the Saurus. Then Ive got the Terradons flying round all over the place, salamanders attacking flanks and the scroll caddy will stand on a hill and get LOS on everything. Im tempted to take another unit of skinks just to sit in a table quarter. Maybe some Chamo Skinks as well.

You got 2029 points there so your a little over 2k.. You got so much points in your slann.. you will lose if it got killed for sure. your around 490 pts with it.. I myself still think he is not worth the points/drama you need to spend on him when he is solo since he is so vulnerable even while being ethereal. Magic is one tricky thing you can't count on.

Also IMO you got alot of points in your hero's that way you got less points to spend for some kill.. Being very defense focussed im not sure if you get that much kills with magic alone. Terradons are not really that hard.. well..not hard enough too wipe a block out with just being 4 with such big bases.

To get rid of those 29 pts you could drop champs + the "Upgrade" to Javelin skinks.

GL with Slann walking solo.. still wondering if it works.

Your slann is way way way too expensive. You don't need terror, you don't especially need ethereal, why pay 50 points for a know all spells upgrade when you can get a plaque of tepok for 15 points?

Also, I don't see the point of taking the diadem of power when you're taking a magic heavy list. You're going to need your power die.

You pay those 50 pts to get the spell you need.. 5 dice and you dont get that one spell you needed (For example Pit of Shades from Lore of Shadow).

Even when being Ethereal .. you still can lose by combat res. and get run over by some wacky units. Why not a Diadem? Perhaps when you get against DE / VC disrupting their magic phase is not that bad.. its only 1 dice from a skink that won't cast anything anyways(and 1 from the pool)
