So as most new generals I have my sights set at 2000 points. But since I'm on a budget I have to plan my buys ahead of time. I miss the times where I could just buy anything that fancid me.
So having spent some times here on this forums and some others, I really like the MMU thing Donkeyhotep has shown.
Seems a good way to make an allcomers list, with alot of flexibility.
Well here is what I got so far.

Slann: BsB, cogitation, mystery, rumination

18 warriors, spear, musican, banner
12 warriors, spear
2x10 skirmishers
2x10 skinks
11 skinks with krox

5 chamelon skinks
5 CoC
3 Terradons
16 TG, musican, banner

That makes about 1700 points. But I feel like I could use another hammer unit. Having used up all my specials that leaves either an ancint stegadon or a mounted one. How would you go about it? I love the EotG model, but unlike a regular stegadon I belive I have to use it with to much caution to make full use off it. Would really love to get some feedback on this list. Because next paycheack I will start to buy models for it ^^

Adding a Ancient I could just remove the musican from the TG and get a list at 1998 points.

Having a EotG will definitely give your Slann a bit of support but also does stray a bit from the MMU philosphy as it's a bit expensive considering you're adding a 2nd character.

If I were wanting to add another character it would be a priest on EotG. If I were looking for a hammer unit, I'd probably go with an ancient stegadon.

Even thou I love the EotG model I think I will go with the ancient, nothing stopping me from getting the EotG later down the line.

How about the siezes on the warriors? As I see it 18 saurus makes an anchor unit almost as good as TG, especially if within the BsB. For the other unit I will have to sacrifice something if I want it bigger, and making it smaller will make it less hitty. Or should I consider making both 13 strong without any comand and get some magic stuff on the frog or another unit?

On paper I think it looks pretty decent, and should be able to compete with most lists that arent to cheesy, or atleast give em a run for their money I hope. Cant see anyone complaining either, havent stacked up on anything in particuar and just 1 hero. Think heavens will work out best in most cases with a lone slann also.

Think I'll go with that list, drop the musican on the TG and add a ancint stegadon.
Think I will build up to this and see what happens I guess unless someone makes me change my mind ^^
