8th Ed. Owned by Warriors of Chaos need solution!

If your bound to heaven, and your gonna try that tatic then you should take two slaan one life and one heaven with that build I mentioned earlier
lore master/focus rum/ on both, on the heaven you can take cupped hand, and you still have points for somthing on the life.
so if you do the commet spam, you can also try to damage with U.tbolt and chain lighting. some combos with the comet to keep in mind is wind blast. push them back into the comet if you can lol

towards your heroes deffinately an EOTG steggy. -burning alignment kills

try it see how it works, wont hurt to try =)

The best thing to do with a unit too tough to kill is avoid it. Seriously, get what VP you can and deny him all the VP you can manage. Feed it cheap units of skinks - seriously dirt cheap minimum units - to keep it at bay from your really valuable stuff.

After a couple of games where his vaunted Chosen gather about half their points worth while you rampage thorugh the rest of his army, he'll start looking to do something else instead.

Like myself and others have said before the most efficient and effective way to take care of that 20+ unit of chosen is to redirect it. In my previous post I even calculated it out with points for you. Unless you invest equivalent or even more points into trying to break the strategy you will fail.

I'm very new to Liz but I know the basics and enough for now. But I do know WoC...Chosen are OP when they have the 3++ and Stubborn. You won't win unless you ignore almost everything else. In which case it will disrupt your strategy and mess up whatever your trying to do to "take on the Chosen."

If a Chosen unit is taken that big the list is more than likely built to support it. That's still a lot of points to be had if you redirect and speed bump it while you destroy the rest of his army.

It seems like you have a grudge against WoC players running chosen and want to really "decimate" them. Trust me on this...if you lead his unit of almost 600+ point Chosen around by redirecting and speed bumping, he will feel a lot worse and his spirits will be far more broken than if you kill it with more than half your army dedicated to destroying it.

Never finished the book, Ahab killed the whale and lived happily ever after right? ;)

I thinkk Ahab discounted advice for catching the whale from his friends and the whale got the best of him and killed him... :P

Yeah the whale killed him but that was only after it sacrificed the souls of ten kelp to its mighty god Khorne. He then let out a mighty cry of KELP FOR THE KELP GOD!!!!!.

I believe we're dealing with Tzeentch warriors... :P

Ive had this happen to me aswell. it hurt my soul so bad.....

My friend plays WoC and I usually destroy him. I usually take a bunch of skinks and take down him marauders before they can do any damage. A slann with the lore of metal is always useful, and if he plays Khorn, use the DotA that only hurts you slann with magic attacks. Salamanders destroy the warriors armour. If you need to, get the skinks in combat and then hit the unit you are attacking in the side with a big block of saurus. My friend never even gets close. Hope this helps.

So I played another 21 Chosen List yesterday and it ended in a draw.

I did exactly what was talked about here and it worked out pretty well, draw is better than a loss.

I had 2 units of 2 Salamanders just dancing around the Chosen and the War Shire right behind it. I kept throwing flame template after flame template on it and was slowly whittling it down. I also kept a SKROX horde unit (40 Skinks and 5 Krox) in long charge range or angled so that if he did charge the Chosen he was pulled out of position, so he never charged so the chosen and they never saw combat.

In the mean time my Saurus and EoG worked over the Marauder Horsemen with a Lord on a Steed of Chaos and a unit of Khorne Warriors with Halberds, with Exalted Hero BSB.

In the end lost 1 unit of Saurus and EoG.

Next time take lore of light. Too late for the current tournee, but its the best lore for buffing lizards. Speed of Light counters lizards poor initiative and Birona's timewarp gives always strikes first. Consider it.
