8th Ed. Opinion on 3K list

Hi guys getting ready for a 3k tournament and would like your guys opinion on my list.

What is your reasoning on using 2 life slann with Focus of Mystery? I am curious. In your place, if I were going to bring two slann, I would take either light/life, life/shadow, or life/death. The life/death combo coudl potentially get you more casting dice. If you have rumination (not sure if you are under tournament rules prohibiting this), you could make more use of the power dice you do have.

In addition to what Arli already said about the double Life-Slann nonsense, you might want to put Higher State of Consciousness on the Slann that is not in the TG block. I'd hate to see him get killed by a unit of mundane scouts or something silly like that.

Keep in mind that for less than the price of Chakax you can get an even better Scar-vet. 8ed rules have hurt him too much to be viable in a tournament. If you really like the model, just use his likeness as a Scar-Vet with a GW and Crown of Command and throw him in one of those Saurus blocks. Give him some more gear of course too.

The rest of your army is solid, though more chameleons wouldn't hurt. You can probably get another unit of those with the points saved from not using Chakax.
