7th Ed. Old one w/ carnosaur

Hey guys,

this isn't really an army list as such, but im slowly getting there, im asking for advice on what magical items or addons i should give my old one on a carnosaur mount.

I saw a conversion of someone who put the temple guardian character on him, and it looked sweet, so i'm going to try to aspire to make mine equally awesome.

My army has 2 stegs, 2 squads of 3 terradons, and not much else set in stone yet.

I know im going to have a scar vet because of how good he is for the points.

I think i want an EOTG, and perhaps a skink chief on a terradon with one of the terradon units.

Main infantry will probably be made up of cheap skinks.

i bought a battle force, so ive got some temple guard, some saurus, some cold ones and some skink models, but i dont know what i'll actually use out of that lot at the moment, considering im probably not gonna get a slann becuase im going for a fast, hard hitting army.

This is my first lizard man army, so any advice would be very much appreciated, ive already bought the carnosaur and the stegs, so they are 100% set in concrete that they are included.

Well, I think I am going to move this to Lizardmen discussions. This forum is really for army lists, if you have questions about what to include and such it isn't really an army list.

There are two pretty good combos that I know of. The first isn't really so much of a combo, but you give the old blood blade of realities. He is now an insane character killer, and if he doesn't manage the carnosaur has a good chance.

The second is more of a unit muncher. Scimitar of the sun and maiming shield. He now has a very impressive 8 S5 attacks, and remember when the carnosaur becomes frenzied the frenzy transfers to the rider as well so he gets 9 S5 attacks.

I didn't know that part of the carno transferring his frenzy to the oldblood. Me really wants one now!
