Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding slann, is it always the best thing to take them in a unit of TG? Are they any good on there one or in with Saurus for example?

Thanks,

Ben

Sometimes, especialy if you plan on using the lore of death or shadow.
(give them the item that makes them immune to non-magical attacks)

You can run slann in many ways, I personally have never run a TG unit

I like to either embedd the slann is saurus unit, which gives a similar effect just not stubborn

Or run them on their own with higher state of consciousness and the divine plaque of protection

Try it how and see how you feel, just don't get a lone slann at the front of your army line and get caught in a charge

You can also field a slaan with the crown of command. It is highly versatile as it allows any unit in the army that the slaan joins to become stubborn 9, which makes saurus nearly as good as TG.

I have been in the no TG camp for a while now, but I may field them in my next army and try and get them in combat. They can hold their own in combat and are a good unit, just expensive.
