7th Ed. No more Jaguar Charm?

I read here that as part of the update, the Charm of the Jaguar Warrior is to be dropped! Is this true? No more JSOD power?
 
I has heard the same... Personally I think it's a move in the right direction. Really don't think of a Saurus as something that under any circumstances moves fast on foot.
Giving The Lizardmen army strenghts in other areas such as heavy magic and cool dinos is much more appealing to me.
Though removing a magic item such as CotJW, I hope to see some other items added opening new combos and giving the player a wast ammount of options!
 
I imagine we r going to see some amazing new rules and items when the new book comes out. I'm sure they will not disapoint.
 
I hav a subscription to White Dwarf, and its official, the new codex will b out within the next 2 months. they r saying ther is a new monster, redone temple guard, terradons, and 3 ways to make a stegadon! Also, they r adding new plaques and slann items. Im so excited!
 
I know! I'm saving to buy the spearhead!

that would meanin December-January if within 2 months

thought they were doing a 40k codex right now
 
They should do a @*#$&#* Dark Eldar Codex Or Guard Codex. Man it had been so long ):

Anyways can't wait for new Items. (: Steed Of Shadows shall be my campanion for awhile.
 
I'm very skeptical about a lot of these rumours, it sounds like someone's been cruising warseer and trying way to hard to come up with something to post.

"The book is supposedly out in febuary 9th 2009", a bad start, the 9th of Feb is a monday, and GW releases are always Saturdays.

Change to cold blooded, was suggested on warseer for a while but turned out to be nothing more than fear-mongering/wishful thinking by non-lizzie players

Kroxigor getting light armour - extremely unlikely, we have seen the new Kroxigor models now and none of the three new models have any armour other than a few gold plates on their back spikes.
 
Ya I can't see a staple in Lizardmen armies being taken out, as Norman said be weary of rumors, for that's just what they are until the book is realsed don't take anything too seriously.
 
the only rumors to take seriuosly are those from WD, still since i now "know" that cold blooded aint gonna change i'm happy. but i would like some more of those low point pwn weapons like the sun sword of chotc, that ignores AS. :)
 
If the JSoD was to be no more, it would certainly be a sigh of relief for all those people who play against lizardmen ;)
 
If the CoJW is removed, I am 100% sure there will be something that allows Lizardmen players to be just as shady, just in a different way. :bored:
 
I heard something in the line that Jaguar Charm will be removed, but there will be a trinket with Steed of Shadows as bond spell. Well, we just have to wait and see, the book will be coming soon enough now.

Rumors now say that the Jaguar Charm is a bound lvl.? Steed of Shadows.... could be good.?
