I support this request! You absolutely must do a tutorial! This turned out amazingly! Absolutely stunning.
Wow, this was more effective than I could have imagined!! not even shy to use the word perfect.
Thanks guys! I pretty pleased with it myself.Looks really good!
Sounds good... I will post one soon! You absolutely must do a tutorial! This turned out amazingly! Absolutely stunning.
Thank you kindly! I don't have any plans to make an entire village, but I do have plans to make one more larger and more complex house. After that, I want to move onto different types of terrain. Now my friend that is a brilliant piece of terrain, have you plans to make a village?
The roof looks amazing although I feel sorry for the bald cat running around Canada.
A tutorial is on the way. I hope to write one up soon. You must do a tutorial and maybe design some printable templates.
Thank youLooks really good! The only thing is the wood, I think is looks a bit too dark. Excellent piece anyways![]()
Thank you! I wasn't sure about it either... I actually created a prototype before gluing the fur onto the roof of the houseLooks fantastic! Didn't expect the fur-effect to turn out so well!
Thank you! When I created my prototype I actually highlighted to a more yellowish finish. When making the actual roof, I thought the slightly darker roof worked better with the general colour tone of the rest of the house. I was aiming for a colour finish something similar this...Looks awesome. You might consider doing a light drybrush of a yellow (vellejo air yellow ochre comes to mind. We use the same paints) over the fur. Could make it look a little more hay-ish.
Thank you so much! You should build some terrain. It's great fun and really adds to the feel of your games & armies.Wow. You really, really make me want to build and paint my own Terrain. These look gorgeous.

For a great starting point, you could always check out the Terrain Tutor on YouTube. Although I didn't get the idea for this particular piece from the channel, I have used many of his ideas/tutorials/concepts in the past and will do so again in the future.

Thanks!Either way it's pretty damn clever way to do a roof.
Sounds awesome. Any ideas on what types of terrain you might be interested in building?Nice! I will have the check them out. My D&D group is planning to build a gaming table that will double as a combat map for D&D and various Warhammer games. So homemade terrain could be fun.

That sounds awesome... I can't wait to see that one unfold!I might do some small ruins, maybe a hut/house. Some day I want to do a tower, but that won't be for a while. The huts will be for a future continuation of this year's Armies on Parade, "A Slann dreams of Lustria Park" little concession stands manned by my Skinks.
Thanks!I wish I could take credit for the idea but I got it from an old Terrain building book that GW released years ago...
