Due to the unfortunate news of the site closing ( :depressed: ) I have decided to make a topic on where we all should move to as our next capital of Lustria.
Post your ideas here.

I think i could help, but i would like to know how much space does this site take up? (it would be good if moderators would tel it or contact the owner)
If theres no other forum for lizardmen i could create and host a forum, bt first i need to know how much space does it take up :)
 
While this is sad news, I don't think we should give up on this forum right away.

I would rather work on keeping the site as it is, than to discuss where to move to.
 
Well yeah mayby we can pay for this site?
 
Oh that sucks. I only just started posting, but I have been lurking here for about a year now. This place is a treasure trove of info, it will be terrible to lose it.
 
All those days browsing this site would be no longer... :(
And I will never get to be a skink brave. :shamefullyembarrased:

Im not a moderator or owner. :D
 
I have asked Sammy (the owner of the site) that question. When I hear back from him, I will post it. He may even post it here.
 
Salvaging this site would be much preferable to starting new, IMO.
 
I'd much prefer to keep this site from doing a Chupayotl and sinking.
However, I think we need to start considering what, if any, topics/posts should be saved.

eg. FAQs, Abbreviation/acronyms, useful resources (eg. links to alt' models/shops, blogs, Spawning of Bob pictures etc).
 
You got to include spawning of bob pictures of course. :)
 
Don't worry, the forum will stay open for as long as it takes to either find a new site or save this one. I've already got a number of avenues I'm planning on exploring in the next couple of days.
 
I'm in favour of saving this site more than anything else.

Either way though I am willing to do what I can to help. :)
 
Let me know what I can do to help, Sammy. I would rather keep this one going. We have a good community here, let's keep it.
 
Sammy could you tell us a bit about the site, some of us have access to extra hosting.

How much bandwith/month and storage does the site use? I can see the site uses php, does it backend on mysql? If you are leary about posting any of that feel free to PM me.
 
Drop a kick starter link or something and let the community fund it.
 
Or at least a paypal "Donate" button.
 
Guys, there's a Paypal donate button at the bottom of every page!

Sammy, maybe if this was placed in a more explicit area? Just so it's not so easily missed.
