AoS new to AoS and wants to start with skinks :3

Hello everyone!
I'm completely new to AoS and i want to start a skink army.
the list should be strong but i don't have any plans to go to a tournament or something like that.
Also i don't have any models or book yet. Basically my only conditions for the army are it should be a complete skink army and there has to be a Troglodon in it
The list i thought of would be:

I would cut the slann and the starpriest and swap them for a Skink Chief, cut the engine and one basti and swap for stegadon. Spend your extra points on moar skinks. If you want your skinks even shootier I'd say grab the spare engine of the gods bit and convert up a "skink" astrolith bearer(which for all rules purposes would be a saurus). Keep in mind that all skink lists are very run and gun and the whole game is spent running away and shooting where you came from, so you'll need to make sure you don't get backed into corners as large groups of skinks get wiped out pretty quickly if something makes it into melee
