What I currently have

Dread Saurian
2 eternity wardens
saurus astrolith bearer
skink starpriest
20 saurus warriors
30 saurus guard

what I plan on getting
Thunderbeast Host
10 chameleon skinks
1 box of saurus knights
start collecting seraphon box

what should I get aside from that...and what battle formations are the most competitive for seraphon??

With yhe new points system out it'stough to say, but you should get some ripperdactyls to give you the option for the Shadowstrike Starhost, deep striker units are always good. Get a sunblood as well for the sunclaw starhost. It will make a difference for claiming objectives in tournaments. And you already have aenough for the eternity ststhost, but wouldn't hurt to fill out those guard numbers.
