AoS New Seraphon Battletome release date

As nice as it would be, GW plan their releases far, far too early on for that to really make a difference. You only have to look at White Dwarf and how it accurately reports on new releases despite haven been written six months or so prior to see how meticulously and far ahead GW’s planning goes. Combine that with all the additional time before that spent coming up with and crafting the new releases, and for you to be in time to actually affect the present, you would probably have to send the emails at a point in which a Seraphon release wasn’t even necessary at all! :p

I've got enough of a backlog and am a slow enough painter that I think I'm okay with waiting for now. Its frustrating, and I was super hyped to hear something from the New Year's Open day.... But now, just kind of accepted I'll be playing with these models and rules for a good while longer. And that's fine.

I do have a ravenous hope that we do finally get a Saurapod dino, something massive to dwarf even the Castellan Knight Titan, and the Stardrake..... *Drool*
 
They basically announced a 2nd new faction with the rumour engine (giant faction) so my hopes are down in the dirt. Getting used to seeing my lizards being shelved by now, the only 2 games i dared to play them over the past 6 months i got tabled in 2 turns by powerplayers. Gonna stick to khorne in the meantime.

back on topic to seraphon; while it might take a while we can still kinda shamble on, @LizardWizard clearly is doing stuff right so we can’t be totally worthless

I wouldn't have such a bleak outlook at the whole situation, granted I am not waiting as long as all of you but Seraphon are in the Warcry book and to me that is a strong indication that we are not vanishing into thin air.
It can be that we arent being lifted to absolute godlike levels in regard to competative gaming but I think they at least fix us up so that were somewhat playable in the current version of AoS.
 
Really all we need is for our battleline to be slightly tougher, but I don’t know if they will even bother to do that.
Mostly giving knights and warriors 4+ saves would be huge, but they might simply ignore us
 
Our monsters just can’t take on other faction monsters head to head anymore. I want back the old days when we would charge our carnosaur a and Stegadons and people would be terrified. Nowadays they die before they get 2 attack
