I almost played devils advocate on this (not intentionally I assure you), but it has shifted to a faster moving meta, especially with how fast the meta is figured out with easier global communication, digital formats to play in, and gameplay becoming stale rapidly for the players who get games in daily. I am not the biggest fan of Contest of Generals because I do like a shake-up every now and then, and I do like the distortion to gameplay priotlrities that comes with some of the seasons of war rule packs, But... I don't get many games in these days and I have friends who play even less than me, and we feel a bit out of touch with the current pace of it.

On one hand, he is probably the killiest foot hero we have.

On the other hand, that really isn't saying a lot at all.

Come to think of it, outside of named characters are there any foot heroes from any faction that have an impactful combat profile? Besides maybe an Ironjawz Megaboss I can't think of much.

murs a possibility but looking at the Kroak sprue I would be very surprised since it’s got bits all over the 3 sprue to make his body ….. unlike new sprue lately that are easy to use for multiple models… that would mean either a froth sprue with just the slann extra bits or a need kit all together?!? Possible i guess that much love our way?!! Also possible i guess time will tell!!! I guess a new battletome this summer too !!! It could be ours !!

Big ol pinch of salt on it. Not a cup mind you, but I'm going to hold out until we see something official. I have been bumping into a lot of variants of leak point/rule shifts for 40k and sigmar this last week and I don't know which to trust :confused:
 
Looks like these rumour engine images are from that dinosaur riding hero. Good chance the ferns and spear come from it too, but that's just speculating.
