According to GW support they are working on getting the White Dwarf stuff in the app, which is definitely needed.
What are you talking about? I'm looking at the SCE and Orruk warscrolls right now.Not for the 3.0 Battletomes, which is not a good sign
I don't own either of those and can't see eitherWhat are you talking about? I'm looking at the SCE and Orruk warscrolls right now.
I don't own either of those tomes, btw.

Exactly. The 3.0 warscrolls you don't get unless you buy the battletome. With GW pulling the warscrolls from their main website, it's pretty clear that they want everyone to be paying either a subscription on the app or buying into Warhammer+ to even be able to read what abilities a unit has.
While I'm certainly not against a company wanting to make money off their product, this to me seems pretty extreme. You have to buy the models to be able to play with them, but the physical warscroll cards that come with the models are usually outdated within six months or less of their initial release due to the constant errata. You need to know what your unit can do in order to know how to play. You also need to know what a unit's stats are before buying it, and of course knowing opposing armies' stats is extremely important as well.
The idea that you have to either buy every single battletome or pay a fee every month just to have access to basic rules of the game is pretty ridiculous.
the warscrolls or the tomes?
Warscrolls are in the app. tomes (battle traits, artefacts, etc) are not.
The sce and the orruk warscrolls I cannot see them in the app.
you might wanna double check the app because the warscrolls are on it.
I do not see them forgive my eyes I cannot find them to save my life but I can buy the rulebooks for them
I'll just give the app a break
well crap thats a lot of MWs. pretty easy to get 4-7 MW a turn with both battle shock phases they are just going to shred heroes.Nurgle is going to be spreading desease, which seems like a reasonably interesting mechanic.
Though the amount of counterplay seems rather limited, maybe if opponents had some way to heal the deseases as well that would be good.
yeah, that's my main concern, it stacks up very quickly, a single unit of cannonfodder like nurglings can easily get 3-4 points of disease on something simply by walking up to a target and rolling one or two sixes during combat.
It's very thematic, and seems fun for the Nurgle player, but given how slowly the points drop again that means you can easily be doing 3-4 MW/turn on a priority target by simply tagging it with some cheap fodder every turn and keeping the desease points up.
ah misread it as "drop by one" sorry
Not sure if it makes much of a difference though, keeping it at 4-ish points should not still not be terribly difficult by just sending in waves of fodder to tag a priority target.
Also, it basicly guarantees Nurgle will win any matchup where it's fodder v.s. fodder as Nurgle fodder will be outdamaging basicly everything of comparable value.
Very thematic and interesting. But I'm really curious what is going to be the downside to nurgle to counterbalance it given how powerfull this will be in a lot of situations.
Yeah it doesnt stand out as super strong. Basically a 0.5 MW procc on 6s with the upside of getting some free proccs on various effects and the big downside that its capped on 7. It might be strong if there are other bonuses attached to the desiese mechanic but on its own it seems to be a lot weaker than a lot of other faction traits.Well, we already knew that GW in this edition is pumping MWs.
The mechanic is interesting and thematic. The additional disease points on 6s may be strong, especially given that they will be available to many nurgle units. But are not auto wounds, you must still roll 4+, so on average "only" 50%.
If you compare it to abilities that on 6s inflict automatic MWs...
If you look at this on something big like say an unclean one, it is indeed rather meh. You're vastly overstating how much damage this can do, assuming there aren't other abilities that get you around the 7 cap or 4+ activation.
Taking 3-4 mortals on a handful of units in a best case scenario is pretty meh.
