AoS NEW *rumor*

You know, looking at the reveals from GAMA makes me sigh for the lizards/dinos we could have. I know, I know, it's just sour grapes to whine about this. GW really wants to focus on future projects, not legacy armies; and they should, I guess.

Anyway, aside from some of the odd looking helmets and headdresses, those Lumineth models are lovely and dynamic. The concentrating wizard floating on rising stones is bold with nice details. As I've already said, it calls to mind a certain floating wizard, for a recently updated army, that could use a new kit... Even the new (almost salamander) cat-lizards feel like GW is mocking us with plastic. Lol.

the tops of the bows the sigle on the floating stone and the top right of the horn on the helmet

I think you refer to this one:

This has a split end, and the models(until) now all have a single ending.
So there is more to come for sure

Khorne Flesh Hounds for Salamander proxies. The regular ones don't have brandings on their skin or something like that. Just remove the spikes from their collars and spice them up with bits from the Terradon/Ripper kit. And maybe avoid the color red when painting them ;)

Looks like a house crawdor weapon. Given that two of the other gangs recently got some new models this wouldn't be surprising.

Although I do agree the models are lovely and highly detailed, I'm afraid I must disagree on the dynamic aspect. The Auralan Sentinels all have the exact same pose. I do like the unit leader, but the rest just look like slightly different arms and easy head swaps. Would've like to see a kneeling front row/few, some drawing & knocking their arrows, or something like that. The old HE archer kit allowed for a fair bit of versatility in regards to posing. These all almost look like they could be EtB/push-fit.

The new "monkey from the MTN" mage could've looked so much better, but that face! Not sure if it's the paint job or the model itself. Hopefully the former so that good painters can have a chance at fixing it, but it's just ok. Again, fantastic details, but just meh final result. A helmet less version would be interesting, I think, but the Lumineth seem to love their oversized, unwieldy horned helmets for heroes lol...oh wellz! Guess we'll have to wait & see what else there is!!

Not quite sure if this belongs here sorry! So I know we don’t have eyes on the lore from the new battletome yet, but do you think pyramid ships would have smaller vessels for like escape pods?

110% Ork as it's just like the buzzsaws from the Ork Nob kit - that's two Ork rumours so far alongside the boot that appeared in the Christmas edition.

The High Elf Archers 2.0 look great, except the multiple bowstrings - would that even be functionally practical? I can't see it working with a bow in real life, so I'd be interested to see what kind of lore excuse GW come up with for that. Otherwise though, they look so much better than the old High Elf Archers with the pansy hairdos.

The High Elf Mage 2.0 fits with the calm-and-collected nature of the other heroes, but, as with many of GW's other more recent hero models, I worry about the practicality of storage and transport for a model like that - one knock and something could easily snap off. You'd have to be so careful when packing him into your figure case and taking him out for a battle.

I'm pretty sure the reason GW did this was to make them look super-disciplined as High Elves 2.0 would be, as they're all raising their bows together to fire a volley. I like that to be honest. Indeed the only problem I do have with these chaps is the multiple bowstrings as mentioned above.

I think it looks great from a fantasy point of view, not sure about the practical side of things, like you mentioned.

It is almost like they want us to buy more figure cases so everything is stored safely...
