I'll have to give it a listen later. Not a huge fan of Meohisto's rambling podcasts, but I have yet to listen to a hobby stream. Maybe it'll be more to my liking.

And this is exactly why I don't think GW should put God figures into the game.
Archeon isn't a god though, he's specifically the strongest mortal hero of the Chaos gods, leader of the Everchosen hordes.... Most folk would get stomped by two Stegadons and a troglodon in a real fight.....

Now, that's not as bad as in 1st edition when I did the same to Allarielle with 1 steg and a Serpent staff Trog.....that's a reason not to have god figures.

This latest Rumour Engine be looking like old edition Lizardmen

If so, would be neat seeing them taking some notes from the older edition designs.

At this point I am seeing Elves there, too.

Sure, might be Seraphon but... we are grasping at every straw by now.

Yeah, that looks like High Elves 2.0 to me - similar to some of the stuff on Teclis’ headdress.

Given that GW have confirmed that they’re going to preview High Elves 2.0 in full at Las Vegas, we can now assume that they are definitely arriving in early Spring rather than late Spring, as otherwise GW would have saved them for later.

As for Seraphon, the chances of them being released before High Elves 2.0 is not impossible - GW have previewed both a major release and minor update at an event before (when they previewed both the Hedonites of Slaanesh major release and the Fyreslayers minor update). Therefore, it is certainly possible that the Seraphon update could be teased at the same time as High Elves 2.0 is previewed.

If this occurs, then Seraphon will likely arrive at some time in February, as it will only take one week to release it all and can be easily fitted in amongst the 40K and Specialist stuff GW also plan to release in that month, before High Elves 2.0 arrive around early to mid March - you all can then get excited.

If, on the other hand, this doesn’t happen, I think we can safely say that GW will keep them on hold until after High Elves 2.0 have arrived, as the Las Vegas Open will be the only preview for a good while I think. It all rests on what is teased in this event.

Isn't archeon supposed to be able to duel allarielle & nagash and such? He's definitly the "weakest" demi-god-thing as he doesn't have much godlike powers and is only good for stabbing people and doesn't have the magic needed to pull off creating a new race or something like that. But isn't he still on the same sorta level?

A wise assessment. It also stands to reason that if we don't see the Seraphon previewed at LVO, then it seems to me that there would be a higher chance that it will be a larger update for the Seraphon, which I'd definitely be willing to wait for.

Sort of. But he's got a very strict "I'm mortal, and not a plaything of gods" outlook on the whole thing.
Plus, when you have a blade that can kill anything, yeah, you can fight gods.

But looking back to the Gods themselves, they're more like mortals elevated to godhood, not immortals made from magic and all that like DRACOTHIAN and the Chaos Gods.
It has a lot to do what happened at the end of the WtW. All the winds of magic picked a person and basically infused them with all their power.
Does that put them above Archeon?
Yeah.
Does that make them immune to being killed by anyone?
No. Its just harder to do. And Archeon is in a great position to do it with support from actual gods.

Bit of news I saw over on Dakka:

A shipping manifest/label had a product labeled as Warscroll Cards: Sons of Behemat.

Sounds like gargants are soon too.
There's a guy on tga who googled and found shipping for the gargant stuff shipped on the 20th Jan but also searched seraphon warscroll cards and they shipped on the 18th.not sure how legit it is but its looking good

Regarding the latest Rumour Engine - why would it be elves when they are being announced very soon? It seems to negate the purpose when the teaser is so close to the event?

Remember the Daemon-Engine?

Also, there's not really a set timeframe from when they can pull stuff for Rumor Engines....

Let's not forget, these rumor's can also be for Warcry and/or Underworlds too. So it could be something aelfy, but for an aelf warband released later for one of these other game systems

...lease I think those are included in the rumors too...lol
