Why does no one talk about the Ripperdactyl potential though? The command ability of the Ripper chief is not a hard once per turn. Combine this with all of the extra CP's we're generating on top of for a example an Aetherquatz brooch. That's an insane amount of exrta attacks for all Ripperdactyl units with 18 inches of him

3 additional Rippers are better than the Chief. That will hold true until you reach a really massive amount of Rippers. Not sure what the breakpoint is yet, but it's going to be a lot.
 
Oh man. I am sooooo hyped. Saurus knights with 7 attacks. Possible +1 to hit/wound/save, extra 2 attacks on 6s to hit, mortal wounds on 6s to wound. At 100pts for 5 I'm really liking these.

Saurus warriors also look great. Lots of attacks coming out of them.

Guards I wasn't stoked on at first, but they can have 4 attacks with 2 of them possibly hitting/wounding on 2s with -1 rend

+1 to hit and +1 to wound command abilities are nice buffs. Putting warriors at 3s to hit/wound for their weapons 4s to hit 3to wound for the bites.

Plus the allegiance for saururs getting +1 to hit on the charge allows to save some cps and spread the buff across more units.

AB giving 6+ward save, plus scaly skin, coalesced will have a lot more staying power than before. Especially when facing armies that are not pumping out loads -1 rend attacks.

I'm really curious what the zigguart, army allegiance, relics and lore are going to be.

I'm pretty sure with these buffs I'm going to have a good chance of winning tournaments at my local hobby store with a Saurus based list.

HAHA!! looks like GW made the warscroll cards available to everyone now (basing on them loading for US shop-site). Guess they caught wind and figured "it's too late now"? Or maybe that's just how it goes lol
 
Looking at the warcrolls, Im definitely not pre ordering anything. Besides nerfs to most of the units I spent months painting, it seems like the units themselves were all distilled down to some very boring profiles. Guard got a wound (finally) but lost shields and their abilities, eternity warden lost his synergy with them. Skinks lost wary fighters and are kinda basic and boring. Changes to Rippers are a clear cash grab (most players built rippers now theyre gonna have to buy more kits for bola dactyls).
This is DEFINITELY a gw stockholder release.

I was excited to see that the troglodon got better but eh looks like Ill be sitting out on AOS indefinitely
 
I would love for one of you who has 80+ skinks to run a melee-skink lists. mainly for shiggles, but to see if it can do something lol

I am 100 percent doing this. All my Skinks are Boltspitter or Javelins, so I guess I'll buy 80 more...

Skink melee mobs with a Stegadon Chief for extra attacks, Priest for +1 to hit, Starpriest for mortal wound buff and Starseer for -1 to enemy saves.

Oh, GW wants me to use the new-and-improved Saurus statline? The Fangs of Sotek didn't get that memo. Call me when Saurus get a model update!

It seems you only need 2 units of 3 ripperdactyls around him to make himself better than 1 more unit of 3 ripperdactyls, since he buffs himself too. Any more Ripperdactyls units and the extra+ really start rolling
