AoS NEW *rumor*

Man, the "teases" and the reactions are coming rapid fire! It's a lot to process. Do we think these reveals are genuine? They seem legitimate, and I can't image these images would be trolling the fanbase, but I wanted to ask.

EDIT: Obviously, I know there are some tomes released early for reviews and such, but wouldn't GW keep a bit of tight rein on how and what can be shared? Do we think these images are coming from one of those?

it looks like a real book so it would have to be a really complex troll.
 
Overall, the buffs to the units seem relatively decent. I definitely don't like that it looks like they've essentially killed summoning. Not only is it not reliable, but it's practically guaranteed that we will not be able to summon anything powerful in a turn where it's going to be useful.

I think we all expected nerfs to either summoning or teleporting, but it looks like they decided to basically get rid of both. I know that the starborn still have teleport, but unless the slann keeps the great remember trait, it's not going to be very useful anymore.

It's just a joke. I wonder how many people worked on this battletome who have some kind of grasp of basic math.

This does take the wind out of my "preorder excitement" sails. I know I'm only looking at the glass as half empty, but I might just wait and see what the book is like on here, and pick it up later if it seems reasonable.

It is a 24" shot. If it did more damage it would probably be too good as a hero sniper. At least that's what they probably thought.

And it is an improvement. Right now it is strictly worse (except the range which was 25" so it will lose one inch). The new version has +3 on hit instead of +4, and 3 instead of d3 damage.
 
speaking of pre-orders
anybody who knows when the pre-orders go up for sale in europe. midninght or miday on saturday

want to get the CE book so i want to know if i need to stay up late
