AoS NEW *rumor*

I'm glad the Thunderlizard ability affects all Monsters. Carnosaurs, Dread Saurians, and Bastilidons will benefit, not just Stegs. So that's nice.

Plus, you can still bring other things. Depending on how the Battalions are built, you may want a few infantry battleline in this army to give you a bonus or two while list building.

I'd assume the skinks would get a buff somewhere then. Though honestly I wouldn't mind if they lost it. It's the only way to allow for changes that allow them to be usefull beyond being meat-shields that constantly run away.

Overall I can see why they'd tone down the teleporting & movement focussed stuff. It's only really fun to a person who's mastered it.​

Facing a bad player using the playstyle is boring, cuz you'l just crush them cuz of their terrible statline​
Facing a good player using the playstyle rapidly gets frustrating cuz you don't get anywhere as they keep repositioning important units before you get to them. And it'l be very unclear how you should be playing differently to stop them. At least the DoT shooting is a very clear threat that you should deal with. But what exactly are you supposed to do with an enemy that just constantly teleports out of danger, and stops you from getting close with endless waves of useless crap?​
Using the playstyle when you're bad isn't fun, you'l just get crushed cuz your statlines are terrible, so every mistake gets punished excessivly.​

Plus, heavy utility is a disaster to balance. It's far too easy to dominate if you combine it with halfway decent stats. So yeah, I understand why they'd move away from it. At least a little bit. Though I'm surprised they seem to be going as far as to put the teleport in a subfaction and take away wary fighter completly.​

we do have ONE example of a lustrian beast spawning from the pools, it's a bit of a contradictory piece of lore given the older versions of its lore, but it's certainly a precedent

furthermore, considering sauri and skinks were both bioengineered starting from indigenous creatures it's not out of the realm of possibility that the technology for the spawning pools could be used on different subjects and maybe add more kinds of subjects at even later dates; it was a popular theory that amazons for example had gained access to a spawning pool, explaining their survival as a population even before having the men of colonists to use

Exactly this. I can understand one or the other, but both seems excessive. We're going to need massive buff else where to make up for it. I am starting to doubt GW when they said Starborn would play like the current iteration of Seraphon.
 
Will there be a another teaser tomorrow? Haven't paid that close attention to an AoS release, not sure about GWs current habits in that regard.

the group is Seraphon (Age of Sigmar) not Warhammer age of sigmar. your looking in the wrong group
