AoS NEW *rumor*

GW move their releases around based on the forecast earnings, if they need to bump up a month or a quarter sales they'll release something big that gathers a lot of interest and sales, if they're doing alright for that period they'll release some smaller ones. Based on the last couple of pre-orders they've been doing ok, since Made to Order Valhallans are pretty niche. My guess is Seraphon is being held back since it will be quite a revenue earner with every Seraphon player picking up the book, most people also picking up the cards and terrain piece and potentially dice = ~£70 a person
 
Only made to order? Hmm, I have a feeling like something's going wrong. Maybe, the virus is really the reason?

Perhaps we will be paired with Behemat. Which honestly wouldn't be such a bad thing, meaning we'd be getting a new hero/hero sculpt.
I do wish they'd at least give us more to go off of than the occasional FB comment. Sisters are slated for March, and they could surprise us still with a preorder on the 29th. This waiting is just a killer.

Maybe by the time it comes out I'll have more Temple guard painted. At the rate I'm going, it's one a day to okay standard. Doesn't help that I chose to make them white....

Nice to meet you, I'm kinda "new" here. I was thinking if I should start with AoS from getting a box of Seraphon, but it seems that I should wait with you for the announcement. So here I am!

Welcome welcome, if anything I would avoid buying Saurus Warriors and Knights and any Saurus Hero on foot, they may get model update...possibly not. If you like the models as they are I implore you to buy a Start Collecting box or if you're lucky the Christmas box, both great value. But what are you interested in?

Youd need a Slann at the very least, but from there, there will be rule updates soon, so I wouldnt buy too much as rules you like may change.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll just wait for the release, hopefully it will happen this century.

I want to focus on Slann (powerful spell caster sounds cool), but I am aware about the current issues with the mechanics. So is there anything that will be good addition to the spell caster Slann, or it's safer to just wait?
I don't think that Christmas boxes are available in my area, probably sold out, I'll have to check one more GW shop.

Carnosaurs aren’t incredible but they look fantastic :D

if you’re thinking about buffs, maybe malign sorcery could be of use. It has some nice endless spells

and wait... and wait. we have divided the waiting between groops so we only have to wait on one thing at a time. it helps with the strain.
this groop over here are the ones waiting for a new book/to be relevent again they are the best off they've only been at it for 4 and a half years and the end is in site, but the strain is driving them mad.
the hobbiests are waiting for new sculpts or at the verry least to not have resin any more. depending on department they have been waiting for 8-17 years.
and finally we have the lore junkies they are waiting for a black library book that has us as the protagonists. most of them have died off by now as we have never had one of those but we'll keep trying.
if you have not yet been assigned a waiting groop please contact one of our managerial staff

Bruh, the Burning Shore was the only book that featured Lizardmen for the longest time
And it was good, but confusing. Why the hell would the Lizardmen live in a bamboo forest village instead of their city? It wasn't destroyed, or even Plagued for Gods sakes.

I've given up on waiting for GW to make us a Protagonist in a book. No one wants to write it in Black Library. Its all fairly human/aelf/duradin points of view and Stormcast.

i don't think that story was saposed to be about us they just switched the names to show that they had a lizard book

and skaven don't forget black libraries favorites we feature more in scaven books then anything else. and i did say most of the book waiters had died off well now we know why
