AoS New 1500 build idea.

Hey I just bought some rippers and I wanted to know if this list would work.

I don't think this list would work. The saurus warriors and knights won't do much. Same for the skinks, too small block.
I think that you have to take bigger block. Something like at least a block of 30 skinks to have their bonus.
And after it's depend of what you have in term of units.

4 small units of skinks and warriors are rather inefficient.
Knights probably can only be ok in their specific battalion, with one of the units being 10 models, and a scar veteran on carino or cold one.
Moreover, 1/3 of your points is spent on the dead frog and this can be very risky considering the lack of bulk in the rest of your army.

The idea of running a batallion is to max it's potential so with a Shadowstrike 2 units of skinks and rippers.

You only have 3 rippers so max the skinks, proxy Kroak as a Slann, use the Slann and Eotg to summon for 2 turns and bam sheer amount of models will run riot against any army.

All your skinks are in your Shadowstrike

Ty for feedback. Unfortunately I can’t do that build that @Crowsfoot posted. I don’t have near enough models. I recently bought 3 rippers so I wanted to see if I could use them for shadowstrike. Ty for all the help.

@Crowsfoot i have a start collecting box (oldblood on carno),28 skinks, Kroak, stegadon, EotG, starpriest (or Starseer), 3 rippers (could probably use them as terradons as well).

That a really cool build but I don’t have scar vet on cold one lol. Also I mostly play 1k point games so I have enough guys to summon. I use this build below and it worked well.

Stick a shield with blu tack on your Oldblood and voila.

Just use one knight from your 8 and like @GuaDan says give him something to stand out

I would just use the Rippers for Summoning until you either get some more Skinks or another set or Rippers.
