7th Ed. Need some lizardman hero on a cold one help

Hi,
I just bought the lizardman hero on a cold one with the hand weapon and the shield. The snake-like, lightning-like thing that goes on his head dress was attached to part of a skaven pelt. The problem is, I can't figure out where the skaven pelt is supposed to go on the figure. All the pictures I can find of that fig only shows the fig's right side, not the left. Any guidance is appreciated.

I stuck the model together 2 days ago and had the same problem! It took me a while to work out that on the model's left hand side under the cloak there's a little slightly squared-off area where the part of the pelt should fit in. I had to cut the claw off the pelt because the model wouldn't sit on the CO properly though. that might just be me though.
