Help Need Help: Thunder Lizard Howdah help

Hey all! So ive decided its time to really put my foot to the pedal and finish the Thunder Lizard's howdah...I am however stuck. I cant decide how I want to do the icons that are not filled in, aside from the small orbs that go down the center of them, they will likely be ret armor.

How would you color the icons? I want them to be identical aside from maybe the small snakes at the bottom, I am thinking of making them different species. The sides will be pure gold except the little triangles which will be red and blue like the central platform is.

Any thoughts are very welcomed, encouraged and sought after!

It’s looking pretty good so far!!

If the railing can pass as wood I would perhaps paint them brown and top off with gold that been said if no other Howrah in your fleet as wood it skip that lol

The only wood I have for a howdah is on my Stegadon conversion, however this being a Thunder Lizard I feel more gold is needed to, lorefully, keep the beast under control (though in my own fluff my faction is able to control Thunder Lizards due to raising them from birth and them imprinting on their Priest/Seer that raises them) as gold is a magic amplifyer

Wood does look good on the other howdah however, so not a horrible idea, just not sure it works for what i'm going for here for the railings

Just to remind us of the colors on the middle Howdah you got already done:

This might help.
I am not a fan of to many different colors and sort of a color-theme.

So I would go with some of the darker Red/Purple you got in this middle howdah already.
Or even the starry bits.

Good call on the photo, here is an even more updated one from last night with the very small side platforms added which have been painted gold. The small triangles will be red and blue like the others

Progress! After consulting with a few people decided to go this route:

Top circle is Khorne Red

Bottom Moon shape is Lilac, Xereus Purple and then Volupus Pink

Central dots are Retribution

Still undecided on the small snakes...

For the snakes you could go either for same colors in a different pattern or different colors(maybe some Green and Blue)

Somehow I think you can't go wrong there, it will look great anyway.

I thought about green! I ended up however just reversing the colors of the middle howdah snakes, black base, red markings and yellow lines

Im planning to fill the openings of the wooden parts itself, the front im thinking of adding spear heads as forward shooting things

Not about howdah colors but howdah related, need some opinions

Trying to decide how to connect my Astrolith Banner/EOTG to my Thunder Lizard. Originally I was going to put it directly behind the throne (first picture) but now I am considering putting it above the throne (second picture). The reason I am starting to rethink my choice is due to that the Oracle piece on the banner itself gets blocked by the throne when directly behind it.

What are your thoughts?

The thing is, in my opinion, do you want it as a part of the throne or saperate?

If you want to be a part of the throne, you could cut the sides of the throne and lower the Astrolith part
