I'm gonna do this first squad in as many different themes as I can think of\think I can pull off and then for the next one I'll have a think if I want to do a whole squad one way or not

Did this one in the box art style it's not my fave so far but it turned out ok

Did this one red it's ok I like the way the scales turned out but I think I over did the black on the head and I think if red was the plan for the rest I'd def want to do the skin a different way

Tried to do a lightning theme for the leader using the same concepts I used for the lava guy a lot of it didn't turn out quite the way I planned but not to bad

I have an image in my head of a crocodile being green on the back and yellow on the front I assume it's from a 90s cartoon of some sort and painted this guy with that in mind, the yellow looks kinda wierd but was a fun experiment

Did this one from a video to change it up some, didn't copy it exactly just took the core theme and made it work with the colors I have

What are your plans with the shields? I notice they are missing on all the warriors.

Thanks! After I'm done all the warriors I'm gonna spray the back of the shields gold and put a wash on them then glue them on and do the front I was thinking mostly jade like the weapons with the raised bits gold but I'll have to do a trial one first to see if I like that.

Did this one orange\red with a similiar style as the last one I didn't like it while I was doing it but it came together alright once all the bits were done

Tried the albino look on this one it was a lot harder then I'd expected I had to be more careful then I usually am because it's so light a little over spread from the extra bits would really stand out and fixing it would have been more difficult then the darker ones

I know what you mean, albinos are difficult. But your looks great.

Thanks! I was pretty down on it when I put the first pink layer on (it especially looked bad in the darker areas of my zenithal) but once I started layering up it turned out pretty decent.

Last one done! The only colors I hadn't done yet besides different shades were pink black brown and yellow so I went with brown scales made the skin green so I ended up with a few green ones but I'm a ghyran guy anyways so I'll most likely pick one of the green ones as my main scheme for my saurus going forward. After I get all the shields and basing done I'll post a couple pics of the squad together.

Squads fully complete now the shields turned out only ok but I think good enough heres a pic of the shields and the squad together.

They look great together!! The shields give them a good unifying look.

Thanks! Wasn't sure how them all being different would look when they squaded up but I think the base and bits being the same unifies them enough

I've been really busy prepping for xmas but my wife got me a new airbrush so I decided to try and paint a model using almost exclusively the airbrush and it turned out not to bad, will probably start working on my son's kharadon overlords over the next month or so and might get some aggradons in the near future
