Finally got the beginnings of a Seraphon army hope to get it built before the weekends out and start some painting

I took some inspiration from crowsfoots post about getting more from the start collecting box and made an astrolith bearer this is my first time really using green stuff. It didn't turn out quite how I wanted but hopefully paint can smooth it out some,

Very cool sculpt!

Very cool colorscheme:cool:

What colorscheme do you use for the Oldblood (and your Sauri in general?)

Gr, Imrahil

Love what you did with the markings on the carno. contrast paint?

tyty I really like purples and blues so I try to work them in when I can. The black is just abaddon black 1:1 w. lamian medium, then stegadon scale green same medium mix and seraphim sepia over white for the skin. I finished the old one just as few minutes ago so heres that.OO1.jpg OO2.jpg OO3.jpg

It's been a while since I built it but I'm pretty sure I clipped the back 2 ribs off the terrorgeist head and clipped the outside of them just a bit so I didn't have to jam it on

Cool. It's bascilum(sp) grey for the skin with a small amount of etherium blue drybrushing and the scales are shyish purple w. Genestealer purple drybrush.

@Lord-Marcus I'd be willing to guess that this purple and grey reminds you of Crowsfoot's work over on his forum when he did the poll for what color scheme to use. http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/return-of-the-ancient-painter-troggoths-added.15934/page-49 The thread title used to mention "Tlazcotl’s Gaze" as the winner of the poll. Other options I think included Chotec's Feather and maybe one other? All the names and basic color scheme starting ideas were from the Colours of the Stars section of the Seraphon Battletome.

Looking good thus far Nathan. Keep it up, and if you are doing knights next, be careful with their cold-ones. Seems like lots of people have gaps when gluing those guys together.
