I wanted to share my take on a dracotion's tail list.
So far I have assembled 2 SC! boxes and I've painted a set of 20 skinks for summoning.
Slann Starmaster (260)
-General
-Great Rememberer
Miasmatic Blade
-Stellar Tempest
Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (240)
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)
-Sword of Judgement
Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160)
-Incandescent Rectrices
Skink Starpriest (80)
-Meteoric Convocation
6 x Ripperdactyl Riders (280)
5 x Saurus Knights (80)
- Blades
5 x Saurus Knights (80)
- Lances
5 x Saurus Knights (80)
- Lances
Troglodon (140)
Stegadon (200)
-Skystreak Bow
Dracothion's Tail (80)
Firelance Starhost (150)
Balewind Vortex (40)
Ravenak's Gnashing Jaws (30)
The idea is that I do not like to use shadowstrike starhost because it seems so expensive.
Instead, I just drop the rippers with a stegadon using DT-battalion, then use the stegadon's ability to move the rippers in for an easier charge.
What I'm not certain about is artifacts and what to but on top of the stegadon.
Also the troglodon I'm not sure about, it was more of an "oh well I own it so might as well include it" decision.
The idea of the whole army is just to LoSaT in the opponent's face, and drop everything on him.
Balewind is for summoning.
