7th Ed. My Carnosuar keeps dying

Hmm I think you need to start reading threads more completely before posting. I have seen a few times when you have replied to the initial post, but the rest of the thread completely covers what you say. Not only that, this question now has its own thread here since it was dragging this thread off topic. I would say have a read, but it seems you have already posted there....

My Carny finally did some Carnage!!!!

It was against Chaos Mortals (Or is it Chaos Warriors).

I didn't realize you could put a Carnosuar into a unit, Don't ask me why, it was probably the Ork player's BS again, anyway I put it into a small unit (6) of cavalry with Haunchi's Totem and placed it right in the middle, charged his big unit of Chaos Warriors and His Tzench Lord and pow!

The Game was a draw in the end and my lord had one wound and the Carny was unharmed, and the only Cav left was the Std Bearer. I love the combo of the Carnosuar pendant and The Blade of realities.

Note that the frenzy from the carnosaur extends to the rider so you don't actually need him to have the carnosaur pendant, he will get frenzy as soon as the carnosaur causes a wound anyway...

Glad to see he is now performing for you! That would have been a massive combat.

Really, i didn't think about that. So a mounts frenzy carries onto the rider?

Checnk under 'Mounts Psychology" on page 79 of the main rulebook for confirmation, it is near the end of the characters section a page before command groups.

The most powerful exploit of this rule in the game is IMO a dark elf black dragon with hatred. Ouch.
