Wow 8th edition is allot differnt! It really seems fun tho. Me and my friends pciked up the hobby again.
Idd mostly be playing vs Ogre Kingdoms/Warriors of Chaos/Tomb Kings and maybe a dwarf player but doubt he will play.

Any thought on my list?

Now ive been wondering if i should drop the lone razordone for 1 more sally or more saurus or more skirmishers.

Lore of magic will prob be Life/Light and Metal vs WoC

am totally new to lizardmen so am not gonna give you tactical advise.

but are you sure about the point cost for the Slann...it looks like you have 2 abilities so he should be over 320 already without the item.

Indeed, the points cost is wrong, as is the cost for the Salamanders with extra handlers, but you're not supposed to post individual points costs anyway.

I think you'd wanna run your Spear guys in a bigger block than 18. Since they attack in 3 ranks, if you lose just 1 wound from the unit, you're gonna start losing attacks, which is especially bad because they have initiative 1.

I presume your Jaguar Scar vet is gonna roll solo, in which case with only a 4+ save and Always Strikes Last, he's probably just going to die. I think you'd be better off sticking him on a Cold One, or giving him some items to make him a bit more durable.

The Temple Guard seem to be an odd size, is there a reason for this? Are you using the old Slann model maybe?

Perhaps get some Musicians in there for your Sauruses?

And finally, I reckon your Chameleon Skinks would be better off in two units of five.

Seems like you've got a pretty nice balance to your army though, so should work pretty well anyway, but these are just some changes I'd suggest. Think WoC might be your biggest problem as you don't have a whole lot for getting through their armour. Sallies might be ok, but they'll wound on 5s which isn't ideal. Hope you can magic them to death I guess!

2000 pts exactly guess this will be a lore of light list with 3 big blocks with ws10 i10 or ASF and xtra attack


Im missing a redirect unit tho. Might take 2 rarzordon instead of sallies and place them before the block for stand and shoot/ redirect.

Any thoughts?

I would say the eotg is not worth the points sink and you could spend the points better getting the saurus up to 2x25 and the tg up to 20 or 26 depending on points but 20 should be fine.

You can't give him the Jaguar Charm if he's on a Cold One I'm afraid, and I still think your Spear units are too small.
