A look good

B be legal

As long as each Saurus is within 1" of another member of his unit, it should be legal, but to make sure nobody has a chance to get sniffy, Games Workshop recently released a doctrine that basically said that if your models are already on square bases, you don't need to change them to round bases for the sake of it, you just measure to and from models in these units as if they were on the corresponding round bases, which is pretty sane and sensible in my view - I would suggest following this when using your own movement trays to make sure all the models have suitable room even when they have the limits of the corresponding round bases. I've thought of the idea of keeping my Warhammer Fantasy models on their square bases but sticking card circles the size of their equivalent round bases underneath their square bases with blu-tack - it may not be to everyone's tastes but this would make it easier to remember where to measure all the time.

This doctrine can be found here:

Hope any of that helps, and welcome! :)

so the general consensius is I can just pick a tray I like within the rules above

on a side note someone in canada does make come rings you can attach to the square bases to make them round

have considered this for my High elves if i ever get around to using them (they are in such a bad place i dont think i will bother )

gone for these but they might be a little bit spaced apart

Those look very similar to the movement trays I was planning for my skink skirmishers (8th-ed) that I never got around to making. I made a ton for my saurus warriors and my bretonnian knights though.

If you want to go cheap, I made all of these out of foam board and gave them a quick paint job.

they look good

as for budget the ones from warbases worked out about £1.30 each I think so not to bad

I remember when I used to play years ago movement trays cost a fortune

The saurons are not painted by me but to much of a bargain to resist
