9th Age Mortal wounds with scar-veteran?

In the firelance starhost its mentioned that whenever a model rolls a6 to wound with a celestial weapon it causes a mortal wound. Nothing says this does not go with the scar veteran. Is this legal or did I misread or miss an FAQ?

giving the wording, yes the skar-veteran would inflict 1 mortal wound, the Knights with clubs 1 and the Knights with lances 2.

and yeah, wrong subforum thingy
