If I had the front two ranks be temple guard Miniatures, and the back two ranks be saurus with spears, would you be ok playing against it?

I'd be fine with it. Temple Guard with their long halberds can quite readily represent ornate spearmen.

Of course, I wouldn't even have a problem if they were just Saurus with Spears to be honest. The only real difference between Primes and Ceremonial Guard is Phalanx.

I would even be OK if the firsts ranks were Temple Guard and the rest normal Saurus.
