Black primer on the first batch of knights decided to granulate, so they got stripped and brushed and are drying now. Soon I'll go get them, do finishing repairs, and then try again on the black primer.

Meanwhile, the batch for white primer have been primed without a hitch.

The final batch for grey primer will be built later this evening. After that I'll clip the frames, write up a basic overview for a handout, and label the various containers that will be on the table.

I have to go out and buy a bigger tote to carry it all. I have one I could use but Its not the shape I'd prefer for this particular use. I'm also going to pick up alternate pallets in case people want options.

I have another commission I'm working on as well, but that one will not be photographed. it's a rather large horse for a friend who is a Doll enthusiast. The print had to be split into parts and I'm going to have to epoxy them together, then sand the joins down, and then prime all the various horse pieces and paint them separately, before meeting the friend for final assembly.

I've built and primed 96 nights on foot for this weekend's event. I may only use a fraction of them. But I'm still happy I made the extra.

Despite all the time prepping for my paint and take this weekend, I still found time to hammer out a few more swordsmen on the anvil of the painting desk.

The painting class went excellent. Full table of 6 for the entire 2 hours. I'm going to do this regularly. With a different featured box set each time.

And hopefully, a place that I can have a table set up for use throughout the day.

Building more models for the next painting table event. I also managed to paint a werewolf tonight.

This was a fun experiment, and shows how radically different the model can look with a different primary color choice and heraldry.

Early Coptic cross on the red, because I got a lot of comments that these could be late Roman infantry in padded gear from the eastern provinces.

Excuse for freehand practice on an overlarge white tree of Gondor. Because the Fiefdoms exist.

For context these are Persian armored bodies, goth Infantry spear arms, and remaining parts from the late Roman kit. All from Wargames Atlantic.

Ooh, I like that butcher. I hadn't considered the idea of using one as a pink horror. Though wouldn't an exalted pink horror be more appropriate... might be showing my ignorance there, can't recall if they actually were a thing on tabletop. I've just been playing Total Warhammer as Daemons, and have exatled pinks in my army... As always happens after playing TW3, I can't recall which units were added for TW3 specifically.

I think exalted were made for Warhammer 3. This guy fits on a 40 mm base like an ogre, so he would be good for a unit tray at most if you are actually using him for a pink horror.

That being said I think he looks cool.

I've got to finish that Aztec unit, and I will.

But I also thought a lot today about trying some turbo dork colored metallics on some chaos knights i have had in my collection for a year. Yay for driving time making hobby plans.

poseidon.png So we released these today, and I can't wait to paint some, even with all my other projects.
