8th Ed. Lore of Life with the new book

So I've had a few game with High magic, not really liking it so I was wondering what is every one's thoughts with lore of life in the new book?

Well you have a 90.7% chance to get Throne of Vines. Sooooooo fine for friendly games, but not great for tournaments

its hard to find a fault with lore of life, its just so darn relyable. You better bring the thunder elsewhere in your list, carno/stegs/trog/ect... cause aside from dwellers, its a defense lore..... a very very good defence lore. That being said im surprised you had trouble with high magic, you can always swap in game if a better lore suits the need. This makes it a lore for any list, life needs a more catered list to be most effective.

Life with a block of (cheaper) temple guard is always solid.

After looking at lore's again I think I'm going to go with Light, I'm running a block of 30 strong saurus, 30 block of temple guard for my main line and I think the buff's from light out weight life and high magic.

This. Life isn't so awesome if you only have 4 spells.
