8th Ed. Lizardmen Tactics

Hello and good afternoon!,
I guess you could say I was a little slow out of the spawning pool and just recently (as in 2 days ago) decided to start a LM army!. I currently play WoC and am pretty familiar with 8th edition. So my general question is I guess, how do you run your LM? is going magic heavy usually the best way to go?. Any tips and tricks is much appreciated! Thanks .

I find a balanced army works best, and lizardmen do this well you've got your chamo skinks which made good harrasers, your slann (life)+ templgaurd the anchor of unkillable doom then your skrox which are just amazing. Salamanders tear through heavy armoured untis like your WoC = P Terradons are pretty cool to. But who can forget our stegadon, there just awsome. Cold one cav can be cool somtimes to with our 2+ armour save. I recomend you have a play around with all types of lists, some lists will work better against other armys but i find a balanced list the all round reliable.
