Im new with lizardmen and i only played 5 match with only the battleon and chakax and my ratio is 2:3 but the question is what might i need to make my army better like maybe stegadon with engine of the gods or more temple guard or maybe skinks with kroxigors or something like that.
 
First, Chakax is probably not a points efficient choice for what you've got currently. One of his major abilities requires there be a Slann, which you obviously aren't going to have at that points level. For that matter, a tooled up scar vet would probably get the job done for a lot less points, although it looks like you're taking a more expensive character to fill points. Sure a scar vet doesn't have some of the abilities Chakax does, but most of those are overkill at less than 2000pts, IMHO.

As far as units to get, at higher points level you're going to want a wizard, if for no other reason than dispel scrolls. Either a disruption unit (e.g. terradons, skinks, chameleon skinks), or more shooting (e.g. salamanders, razordons, ancient stegadon, more skinks), should probably be your next priority, followed closely by magic.

Well, I myself love Chakax, but I agree that he really is not a good choice without a Slann...

But on the subject of expanding your army, good choices would be a box of skinks, as there are only 12 in the battalion and that's only enough for one unit. You can never have too many skinks :meh:

Also, a Stegadon would be a good choice, as you have a lot of options on how to use it and it comes with a skink chief and priest.

The unit of 10 TG is all you will need in games without a slann, and even then you can find people that would just proxy them as generic saurus. The fact is, they are most effective with a Slann in 2k and higher.

terradons are a good suggestion. i strongly recomend a stegadon and salamanders/razordons.
from then on its a matter of prefference, maybe you like more COC's maybe you like more kroxogors. and at some point slann if you plan using chakax
ohh.... and skinks, you want lots of skinks another box should be enough tough
 
Thanks for all the replies and im think of getting a box set of skinks and making three groups of 12 and an ancient stegadon with Engine of the Gods :D
