What is everyone using to build Army Lists?


Is there anything similar to Warscroll Builder but meant for 8th edition lists (or for that matter 7th, 6th, or earlier?) out there on the internet? Are there several options?

I admit it. I am lazy and unlikely to work out a list with pencil, paper, and calculator.

Have you tried Battlescribe? It has 8th edition downloads.

Personally I don't really like it, it's a bit... I don't know really. Something about it is a bit unwieldy.

I will admit that I am pretty particular and have typed all of the army list data for my armies into excel grids on my I-Pad and have set up formulas to automatically count up the Lords, Heroes, Core, etc. as I change the numbers. I just have full control then which is what I like as I HATE working it out on paper (especially since I change it all the time).

I have always used excel, like this:

I also just use excel, without your fancy macro's though. Works great, generally.
