8th Ed. light slann for 1,5k

Hi guys,

I'm gonna play against my friends next week. They are playing DE and VC. I decided to take solo slann because doesn't feel like putting him in a unit of TG.

for the point allowed, I am undecided what to arm the slann with. what i think:

Slann
- Lores of light
- Focus Mystery (Loremaster)
- Focused Rumination (free dice)
- either cupped hands or higher state (ethereal)

so, what do you suggest? thx!

ps. DE is shooting oriented. VC is varied.

u shouldnt make lists against specific armies, the best way to be a master in your army , is to allways play with an alcomers army
i would ditch the ethereal and get cupped hands if u go light

I would go for 1 Dicipline, Cupped Hands, Plaque of Protection and BSB, Or exchange the Cupped hands for Plaque of Tepok, and get a Banner of swiftness or something like that
P.S If you don't play with ETC rules always use Etheral+crown of Command

I would go for cupped hands over etheral because you will miscast at least once. Although, I would probably put in some TG for the slann (points allowing).

true. this is just a punchline for my 1500pts slann. i usually dont play slann until 2000pts

the reason I dont bring TG is I think slann can handle almost everything. Hydra and other big regenerating creatures can get shem burning gaze, then skinks can blowpipe them. AOE (ws10/I10 and -1 to hit shooting and cc) for saurus warriors. i bring 3 sallies in the flank (may get birona's timewarp to from the side).
