Hi,
I've been experimenting with the Lizardmen for a while, trying to find a style that works for me. Mostly I've been running a core fairly heavy on Skink Skirmishers, but I'm finding that having no scouts or vanguards is a bit too slow for my tastes.
LORD:
Slann: Harmonic Convergence, Becalming Cogitation, BSB, Channeling Staff, Lore of Light
HEROES:
Skink Priest - Lvl 2, Dispel Scroll, Lore of Heavens
Scar-Vet - Cold One, Armor of Destiny, Great Weapon
Scar-Vet - Cold One, Light Armour, Charmed Shield, Dawnstone, Sword of Might
CORE:
24 Saurus - Std, Mu, HW+S
24 Saurus - Std, Mu, HW+S
10 Skink Cohort - Std
Special:
6 Kroxigor - Ancient
6 Chameleons
6 Chameleons
6 Chameleons
3 Terradons - Fireleech Bolas
Rare:
Ancient Stegadon
Salamander
Salamander
Total points: 2500
So this is about as standard and balanced of a list I can think up. A potential tweek could be to go with a couple of units of Rippers and cut in to the Chamos and Terradons, which makes the army a bit more aggresive but less flexible. I do think Terradons are overpriced currently, but they still offer great utility in my experience.
Tell me what you think.
