Let's Get Motivated - October 2019

Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - October 2019

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Well I've done bugger all for months now, weather is getting cold so I might hopefully get something done this month.

No progress last month.
No plans for this month yet. Except maybe finally finishing Arkhan.

Well I made a little bit of progress in September but didn't get to finish what I was hoping to do. This month I will once again endeavour to finish off my Saurus with spears!

For me some new goals this month, because i finally could cross off two goals

- continue painting my Saurus Knights(mostly Cold ones first)
- starting a colorscheme for my Ironjawz army

That will be enough to take my through October.

Working on my Hellcannon. Mounting the heavy metal hellcannon to the base with only limited contact points should be a little challenging. Pinning away!

Starting off small as I haven't put brush to model properly in quite some time.

My goal is two finish two WIP figures: a skink chief and a saurus oldblood on foot.

Just got my starting collection box in the post today so I think by the end of the month I'll start small with either the oldblood carno or trog done

Hi guys, i've finished to paint my temple, and now i start the saurus units. First week, already 44 done, i hope to keep the rythm to the end.

Got my 7 cold ones and 1 scar vet cold one all build but not the riders or scar vet done at all, gonna paint them separate, that a good idea?

Slowly but surely, getting my skinks painting, trying to do one step for 10x skinks per day, a bit rough due to being busy

My painting is a bit slower at the moment because my 2yo loves to sit on my lap and help, but nevertheless I'm feeling motivated and am making great progress on my skink chief. I'm down to the fiddly details now - the gold jewellery and feathers.

Should hopefully finish my Necrons by the end of this month. Still haven't uploaded the pics of my Big'Uns I finished last month into my Painting Blog yet...

Well the month is wrapping up and I got some stuff done, notably my tau stealth suits and XV 85 are painted. Most of my fire warriors and pathfinders are also battle ready, and I’m working on my saurus knights

Because I'm only a couple of nails and highlights to finish my first Cold One Rider/Saurus Knight I'm setting up myself a stretch goal to finish this couple until the end of the month!

Still haven't finished Arkhan. But at least I am making progress.

Finally finished painting my 40 Saurus with spears. Currently painting all of their shields separately, probably won't finish before the end of the month though.
